SP Textiles wasn’t built on a clever pitch or a marketing plan. It was built on a simple observation: healthcare and hospitality institutions were stuck choosing between affordable and reliable. They were getting inconsistent quality, unreliable deliveries, and suppliers who treated bulk accounts like background noise.

Where we started
We started in Hyderabad with a clear focus — hospitals and hotels need linen that performs, not just linen that looks good in a catalogue. What began as a small, relationship-driven operation has grown into a supplier network that covers Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and extends across India and to international markets for export orders.
Three decades in, the fundamentals haven't changed. We still personally oversee quality on every bulk order. We still pick up the phone when an institution has a tight turnaround. And we still believe that a hospital bed or a hotel room is only as good as what's on it.
What we believe in
Linen that fails after 40 washes isn't linen — it's a liability. We supply fabrics in cotton, polyester, and poly-cotton blends precisely because different institutions have different operational needs. A five-star hotel's housekeeping schedule looks nothing like a government hospital's. We've seen both, and we manufacture accordingly.

Mr. Rao’s entrepreneurial journey began in the Kalamkari textile industry, where he built a strong foundation in fabric and craftsmanship. As corporate hospitals expanded rapidly across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, he identified a significant gap in the market for reliable, high-quality institutional linen.
Through extensive consultation with hospital administrators, he gained a deep understanding of their textile requirements — including bedsheets, pillow covers, patient gowns, and OT gowns. Based on this research, he identified polycotton fabric as the optimal choice for institutional use, valued for its durability, longevity, and ease of maintenance through repeated industrial washing.
This insight became the foundation of SP Textiles’ hospital linen division, supplying hospitals across the region with quality fabric in a range of designs.
Around the same time, Mr. Rao expanded into the hospitality sector, securing a partnership with a major corporate hotel chain to supply premium 400 TC (Thread Count) bedsheets — a benchmark of fabric quality in the hospitality industry.
As the business grew, hospitals began requesting customized linen featuring their institution’s branding on bedsheets and pillow covers. By combining premium fabric with tailored solutions, Mr. Rao established SP Textiles as a trusted partner to hospitals and hotels alike — a foundation of quality and reliability that continues to define the company today
